As in 2017, HGSCA Hopes to Raise and Exceed Its 2018 Fundraising Goal to Benefit "Fundación Casa Ronald McDonald Ecuador"

In 2017, Casa Ronald McDonald from Guayaquil, Ecuador met with HGSCA to explore the possibility of obtaining support from the organization to help more families with children affected by terminal illnesses. After several meetings, HGSCA decided to adopt "Casa Ronald McDonald" in Guayaquil launching an online and offsite fundraising campaign that exceeded the fundraising goal in 2017.

In 2018, HGSCA would like to challenge itself to do the same. The campaign is scheduled to be launched on Friday, May 4, 2018.

"In that moment the only way an ill child can feel safe and loved, is when his or her parents are around. If we can make them feel that way, then it is worth the effort." said Luis W. Moyano, President of HGSCA.

We invite our community to support Fundación Casa Ronald McDonald in helping families with seriously ill children stay close together during difficult times. The families were thankful for your support in 2017 and would like to count on your support again this year

Casa Ronald McDonald and HGSCA understand that helping a sick child fight their illness takes a huge emotional toll on a family. Adding a financial strain can make it all almost too much to bear. Casa Ronald McDonald helps to address these problems. Whether it be housing near a hospitalized child, the expense of staying together in another city, or even getting basic medical and dental care in an impecunious community, Casa Ronald McDonald strives to support these families in their time of need. The organization has sheltered approximately 300 families from all over the country.
