Ernesto Cedeño is a Customer Care Supervisor focused on the Latin American market with Emerson, a Fortune 500 company, focused at instrumentation for the energy industry. Originally from Ecuador, South America, he has lived most of his life in Houston and studied both his undergrad and MBA at the University of St. Thomas.
He serves on the board of Houston Guayaquil Sister City Association currently as Vice-President where he looks to continuing the noble goal of the organization fomenting the relationship between the cities.
He is also a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers
where he contributes as an Associate Editor for The Way Ahead global young professional’s publication and as committee member for the OTC – The Next Way young professional’s annual event.
Outside of work his main passion is to travel and seek out new cultures. He loves Racquetball, bicycling and running, having completed his first marathon in 2016. He also walks every day before going to work and upon coming home with his dog, a Schnauzer named Frost, while brainstorming for the next steps ahead.
